Help for Bulletins:
- What is a bulletin?
-
A bulletin is like your own private email service that sends you updates when we add records in AMSER of resources that might be useful to you.
- How do I sign up for a bulletin?
-
Click the Bulletins link near the top right corner of the screen. Select the topics which interest you in the Available Topics box. Use the control key (for Windows) or the apple key (for Macintosh) to select multiple topics. Click the Add button to add those topics to your bulletin.
After you've configured your bulletin, you can choose how often you'd like to have your bulletin sent to by choosing the frequency from the drop down box just below the topic and bulletin lists. Bulletins can be sent hourly, daily, weekly, by-weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can also opt not to have bulletins sent to you by selecting Never as your bulletin frequency.
Click on the Save Bulletin Settings button and you're done. You will begin to receive bulletins at the email address displayed just above the save bulletin settings button. You can change the email where you receive your bulletins by clicking the Change This link next to your email address, or by changing your email in the Preferences section of AMSER. You can also change the topics you'd like to have sent to you in your bulletin at any time. To change, add, or remove topics from your bulletin, click the Bulletin button from the AMSER home page, select the topics you'd like to remove, and click Remove. You must be logged in to view or update your bulletin information.
